2007
Welcome back to the SouthWest Macromolecular Symposium. On behalf of the SWMS organizing committee we would like to thank
our 2006 Keynote Speaker, Professor Wim G. J. Hol, University of
Washington as well as all the participants,
attendees and vendors for making SWMS 2006 such a success. SWMS 2007
will be equally as exciting. We are pleased to announce Dr.
Stephen Burley, Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of SGX
Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will be the SWMS 2007
Keynote Speaker.
As we look ahead to this year's meeting, please check often as we prepare details of the 17th
annual meeting.
The venue has changed from last year to the Shenandoah Convention &
Visitors Center which will provide a more suitable atmosphere for a
scientific conference. Following last year's format, the meeting will again cover 2-1/2
days starting with the registration and opening mixer but begins on
Wednesday instead of covering a weekend. Thursday will host a
gathering of top biochemists who will share their research with the
community and concluding the day's events with a banquet. Friday continues with a workshop session featuring some of the latest information from researchers
and vendors. We will again have a vendors display area so that
leading companies can introduce their latest developments.
Online
registration is now available so register soon for this year's event.
We look forward to seeing you again at the 2007 SouthWest
Macromolecular Symposium!
